and this doesn't strike you as odd?

it all starts here

Well it does for me at least. It's late (or early where lots of other people are) a small red machine in front of me purports to sell small bars of chocolate for 10p (property of son - works imperfectly - metaphor for something, or not) and the page is blank. And the last person on the planet never to have blogged has joined the herd and lost his singularity (or singularness). I look forward to spewing the usual stream of random events, thoughts and not poems I promise for the vast majority of us all to ignore. Lucky us.
Must try not to use the word cyberspace - oh bugger.

Best thing that's happened to you since August 2005, huh, cod?

Now look, Witchers; King Cod (despite his rather sad pseudo) is a wholesome, decent human being who works hard and tries to provide for his two little girls. Yes granted he spends too much time playing very sad games online with people from Finland and occasionally reviewing electrical equipment(who doesn't? yes you I know but you obviously take plenty of time and pride over your excellent blog and even know how to put in links and stuff and pictures of yourself as a clanger) (nice witch too, by the way)but he is one of my oldest friends in the real world. Please be gentle with him, he is one of the good souls. And apart from your kind interest in taking under your wing a blogger who can't manage more than one trite comment in a month or so, what on earth are you doing coming back to a blog of no interest whatever? I'm touched but baffled...I mean why? Ooh yes and if I haven't mentioned it, I love the links on your site. I had feared the bloglobe (hate 'blogsphere' as a word)was the sole domain of god-fearing stay-at-home moms of seven from Nebraska who fill their site with pictures of 9-yr old daughter hitting her first little leagu homer at Lawdhelpus Field and who are torn apart at the controversy in their prayer group when the Pastor questions the right enshrined in the bible of all men to beat their wives to a bloody pulp for watching a woman on TV who wears eye-shadow. Well perhaps I exaggerate a tad. And did you perhaps shaft our (I presume mutual) chum King Cod with a pole last August or did he visit your site? I just don't know and I want to!!!

Now, Coddy; I know you are too mild-mannered a fellow to get slangy with Witchy - she was after all the first person to welcome me to weirdworld and remains the only person (probably for ever) I don't know to have posted on my bleurggh. And her blog is great. So be nice please, as I don't want any blood on the tracks. And please tell me about Aug 2005!!!

    Love to both
    Wondering
PS it says up here 'You can use some HTML tags, such as b, i, a all in funny pointy brackets, and you just know I can't and never would have dreamed of trying even if I knew what on earth they were. NO please don't start telling me.

Ah and there's me auld chum Senor Wondered getting all emotional and defensive Mother Duck Stylee.

*elbows SW out of the way and dons fighting trousers*

Merit resides in many places Witchy, blogs being just one of them. (is that grammatically correct?) Should I choose to be culling seals since August 2005 and not posting to my Sump of Fun (TM) I reserve the right to so do!

Yeah...ok KC...I just noticed that you hadn't posted on your blog since August 2005 and, being the third poster on an obvious newbie in the bloglobe's (I like that word) new blog....awww shit...I kinda got protective. So sue me. (SW - I clicked on his name...it led me to his blog whence I saw his last posting dated August 05. That's how I knew.)

Being a radfem blogger one kinda gets a tad prickly about the picker on-ers - if you get my meaning. I apologise for any/all slights - actual, inferred or intended. I shall be gentle, ok? Chums?

SW - I'm pleased that you like the links on my blog - and my blog itself, even. I'm coming back here because your post in the comments on my blog made me laugh and I like to laugh so I put your blog in my faves. 'Tis simple, really...

I'm now thinking about your 'blood on the tracks' reference. Are you a Dylan fan?

See? It's soooooo easy to get drawn in to other people's lives with all this - and it's mostly good.

I/KC/probably anyone can help you decipher the letters contained in pointy brackets (commonly known as HTML) as well as the linky thing and picture posting....if you ever develop a burning desire to know.

    Happy blogging!

Its clear we need to start the Dylan conversation right here. right now.

    I shall post about that.

Your defence of SW was both honourable and well founded. SW and I have been mocking each other gently since ... hmphrrr.

No need for mutual mockery - I only post what I see.

    Lets talk about Dylan...

gone quiet, coddy! don't worry witchy, twas ever thus with him: he cosies up to some radfem chick, offers to talk dylan with her and when the girl asks him to deliver - nada! I blame Dr Filth.
